ABOUT RYAN
My name is Ryan Elk and I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and studied Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. My work is heavily focused on pre-visualization or concept art for the film and video game industries. I have been drawing my entire life so it is only natural that I’m passionate about my artistic career. I enjoy living vicariously through my creations which inspire me further to keep pushing my work, achieving more fresh, dramatic, original designs, and visually enhancing my stories overall.
I am always inspired by riding my motorcycle, epic adventure films and games, highly stylized graffiti, and good music I can draw to. When it comes to genres Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Westerns are always my favorite. I find myself adding a twisted, dark, and stylized spin to those genres in my art.
